ALTAIR APPOINTS DAVID MCMULLIN AS VICE-PRESIDENT
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – December 4th, 2017 ALTAIR RESOURCES INC. (“Altair” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: AVX; Germany FRA: 90A; ISIN: CA02137W1014; WKN: WKN A2ALMP) Mr. Harold (Roy) Shipes, Chairman and CEO, is pleased to announce that Mr. David McMullin has, with immediate effect, been appointed as Vice President of Altair Resources Inc. In addition Mr. McMullin will take on position of President of Altair Mining Inc., our wholly owned US subsidiary.
Mr. McMullin is a highly experienced manager of mining operations with extensive experience in development and growth of mining companies. Mr. McMullin, as President and Chief Executive Officer of CS Mining Inc. in Milford, Utah, was most recently responsible for the concept, engineering, budgeting, procurement, build, commissioning and ultimate successful operation of a $60 Million add on agitated leach to SX/EW copper processing circuit to existing flotation plant. Previously, as Vice President of Operations of CS Mining, he managed the startup and successful operation of the 2,500 tpd copper flotation plant at the CS Mining operations in Milford, UT. During tenure as CEO and previous tenure as General Manager at CS Mining, Mr. McMullin managed a multi-million dollar exploration effort. He directed and managed a complete inventory, assessment and compliant reporting effort of the company’s resources. He is a skilled leader and recruiter of talented personnel. He also has substantial experience in finance and budgeting, environmental and permitting, strategic and business planning. CS Mining operations and multiple construction capital projects had a total capital outlay of over $100 million. He is most proud of the safety record during his leadership of just 1 lost time accident in 6 years.
