George Young

George S. Young BSc. Eng, LLB, JD – Chairman & CEO

Mr. Young has over 40 years of management, project finance and development experience in the mining and utility industries, including the development, construction, permitting, acquisition and/or financing of over 20 mining & utility projects in North and South America. After working at Kennecott’s (Now Rio Tinto’s) copper smelter as a metallurgical engineer he received his degree in law, and then served in a number of legal and managerial positions of responsibility in the industry, including as General Counsel of Bond International Gold, Inc., a NYSE listed company until its acquisition by Barrick Gold Corp.; founding President of MAG Silver Corporation; Co-Founder of International Royalty Corporation; as well as in senior roles in many successful public companies (American Resource Corporation, Canyon Resource Corporation, Oro Belle Resources, Lion One Metals, e.g.,). Mr. Young graduated with a B.S. degree (with honours – Magna cum Laude) in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Utah in 1975, and also received a JD degree (with honours – Utah Law Review) from the University of Utah College of law in 1979.

Moe Dilon

Moe Dilon Independent Director

Mr. Dilon began his career as a commodities trader for a well-known Wall Street firm, managing their Asian operations out of Singapore in the 1970’s. He later started an edible oil trading company based in Hong Kong, within 18 months reaching sales of US$100 million per year. During that time frame, Dun & Bradstreet profiled Mr. Dilon as among the top 200 most influential entrepreneurs in Hong Kong in 1987. He moved to Canada in 1989 and made a series of investments in the commodities and resource space, bringing in co-investors from Asia. Later, he became an advisor to Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. More recently, he also served as a Director of ZoomAway Travel Inc. (formerly, Multivision Communications Corp.).

Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson Mining Eng. PhD. – Independent Director

Mr. Nelson is a professor of Mining Engineering at the University of Utah. He holds degrees in metallurgical engineering, applied physics, and mining engineering. Mike has worked for Kennecott Copper, Westinghouse Electric, Consolidation Coal, and EIMCO Process Equipment, and has served as a director for several mining and exploration companies. He holds nine patents in mining and mineral processing technology. He has given invited short courses in the U.S., Australia, Ecuador, and India, and has been an expert witness in the U.S. and Australia.

Wayne Koshman

Wayne Koshman BCom – Corporate Development, Independent Director

Mr. Koshman has a 30 year track record as a successful entrepreneur in diverse and challenging markets/countries throughout his career. He is currently the founder and President of Red Sea Resources an Egyptian based gold exploration company in the Eastern Desert. Wayne founded Dynasty Gold, one of the first Canadian mining companies to enter China completing 2 Sino Joint Ventures with Chinese State companies. Wayne founded Terrawest Resources and completed the first onshore PSA with PetroChina/CNPC for the development of coalbed methane fields in Xinjiang, China. Wayne founded Tunisia based Voyageur O&G that invested >$150 million with its’ partner Anadarko Petroleum to discover the largest shale gas deposit in North Africa at 60 TCF.
