ALTAIR STARTS DRILLING CREPULJE ZINC-LEAD-SILVER PROPERTY, KOSOVO

Altair Resources Inc. has initiated diamond drilling on the Crepuljie zinc-lead-silver property in the Mitrovica district of Kosovo.

Diamond drilling will test for extensions of high grade zinc-lead-silver mineralization encountered in previous trenching and drilling of the original mineralization. Drilling will also target three gravity anomalies outlined by a gravity survey completed this past week over the target area by SJ Geophysics of Vancouver, Canada.

This program was recommended in both a National Instrument 43-101 Report by Perry Grunenberg (2015) filed on SEDAR, and in an internal Corporate Report (2016) by Prof. Dr. Alaudin Kodra of Kosovo. The drilling program will be supervised by Selim Berisha, Altair Chief Geologist for Kosovo, and implemented by Cabo Drilling.

As discussed in an earlier release, numerous high-grade zinc and lead occurrences lie within a target zone measuring 500 metres by 300 m. In this area several surface trenches exhibit high grade zinc-lead mineralization zones running between 17 to 35 per cent zinc plus lead over 2 to 4 m widths within broader mineralized zones. These zones lie within a pronounced zinc and lead geochemical anomaly defined by earlier work. Also from earlier work, two zones of induced polarization response and one zone of self-potential response also lie within the target area generally coincident with the geochemical anomalies.

The technical information in this Press Release has been reviewed and approved by Dr. Stewart A. Jackson PGeo., a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101, and a Technical Advisor to the Company.
