Altair Announces Extension of Unit Private Placement

Altair Ventures Incorporated (“Altair” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: AVX) announces that the TSX Venture Exchange has granted the Company an extension to August 6, 2010 to file final documentation regarding a non-brokered private placement, first announced in a news release on June 2, 2010, of 5,000,000 units at a price of $0.10 per unit., for gross proceeds of $500,000. The Company requested this extension in order to permit it to complete its discussions with prospective subscribers.
